‘Go Do’, the exhilarating first single from Jónsi’s debut solo album is released on March 22nd as a three track EP, featuring the additional tracks ‘Kolniður’ and ‘Grow Till Tall’. It’s accompanied by a stunning video directed by Arni & Kinski (previously responsible for no fewer than six Sigur Rós videos) and filmed on location in Iceland between Christmas and New Year.
‘Go Do’ is now on the Radio 1 B-List following a daytime ‘Record of the Week’ with Greg James. It’s taken from the album ‘Go’ which is released on April 5th.
Jónsi will be taking his album on the road with an elaborate, innovative and theatrical tour including a set designed by 59 Productions that reinvents the whole idea of a rock gig into something altogether more fantastical.
